I've learned you have to adjust to the system, Hurls. Being more conservative has worked for me. Pocket queens was getting killed yesterday. Must have lost 6 out of 9 times when I played. What you have, can sometimes be an illusion.

the big hands don't always win. QQ will lose a lot of the time, but only if you let people catch.

as far as i'm concerned, if you're all in, you pretty much lose with the best hand more often than not, just trying to find the passion to load all my hands into VBA and perform tests on them and see how often I lost when the pct was highly in my favor all in.

Avenue X today, 1/2 table, playing five-handed. Had J2 hearts, I was bb or sb, and no one raised, so I was in the hand. Flop all hearts, including an ace, I believe. Wound up all-in. Other guy had Q9 hearts. Luckily didn't have so much (after hotstreak called my big bet after the turn and caught a straight) so only lost about 49.

So dealer dealt at least 7 hearts, and possibly more, if you include the other three players.
