Whats the deal with WSOP online poker?

I saw an ad in their magazine that they are claiming to be 100% U.S. legal, yet when I signed up with them, I got a message saying I couldn't play for money in my country.
WTF!!!?????? This is such BS. Has anyone else seen this? Also, what good is 100% legal if its only play money?

so does this mean they have freerolls only? If so, they won't even let me get that far to find out.
