USA Time Slots

I'm not sure how they did it last year but somehow we need to figure out time slots. The series ends next Friday and that only leaves us 2.5 days to figure out 10 people for 10 different slots on 4 different days if we wait that long.

As d2bets stated, I think 1-3 are pretty much in, 4-6 are really close to being in and 7-12 need a couple cashes while everyone else needs a couple wins/multiple high finishes. If you get over 5,000 I think you should come in here and state what time slots you can play because it looks like upper 4000s will qualify. I'm not trying to jinx anyone but we need to figure out beneficial times for everyone before the time is up. Granted we still have 7.5 days left but we all aren't here at the same time and it'll be hard to get 10 people to agree on 10 slots over 4 days. If you have less than 5k and are in contention but are still willing to post your availability it is much appreciated.

It looks like the tournaments are only 12-9pm.

I could play in the mornings most days, but as the week moves on, my guaranteed free times get smaller due to my line of work and I have to be prepared for weekends (and actually if it was summer in daylight savings I couldn't guarantee I'd be here for any slots).

On Monday I can play 12-2 for sure, maybe 3pm if we desperately need that time and 8-9pm for sure
Tuesday 12-1pm for sure, maybe 2pm and 8-9pm for sure
Wednesday 12, 8-9pm for sure
Thursday 8-9pm


If you get over 5k, please fill in your slots so we can work out something.

Rudy, last year I started a thread for team USA, like you're doing here. Not long after, the other teams realized the wisdom in this and also started threads.

Looks like team USA is leading the way again. Hopefully a better result this time.

Rudy, outta respect for you I'll chime in now even tho I kinda was weary of the whole jinx thing , wanted to wait till over 5k but I got a crappy 7th this morning to put me at 4905 so......

All days 5-9 availability

Also, if I have enough lead time, I can probably shuffle some things to fill in an earlier time if needed.

Well I was hoping to play in the 8 or 9pm slot, but of course everyone wants to play in that slot.


I CANNOT play in the 12-3pm slot ever I dont think. I am assuming EST here. Potentially I could play in the 4pm slots, but not the 5-6.


It is going to be hard to find guys to take the 12-3pm slots I believe. We do need a plan, I just wish that other teams had not seen this thread

i dont blame anyone with less than 5k for not posting times and we sure dont need 20 people posting availability, but over 4700 you should atleast think about posting it and once you get to 5k you should definitely fill it in

maybe we can all get in someones chat saturday or sunday of next week during the high roller or rebuy since everyone might be around then if we cant figure it out by next friday?

i can pretty much guarantee i can play 12pm on monday tuesday and wednesday if noone can/wants that time. as we get closer to the weekend my time in the day to guarantee I'm free gets smaller and smaller though. thats why its only 12, 8, 9 on wed. and 8 or 9 on thursday

rudy, if you can play at the 12am slot on the first 3 days, then stick with that.

OuR KEY TO wiNNING will be to make sure that we just have 10 players actually playing each day. Other teams will be missing players on some days

well, im 99.9% to play at noon but im 100% to play at 8 or 9 everyday. im not a fukkin organizer and i dont get paid to organize. i guess we will all just fight for the 8-9pm slots so i can bet europe when odds come out

Early USA team infighting. Might have to adjust those odds.

BTW, not to take anything away from Wrath, but I'm not sure I've ever played him. Assuming he plays the 4am, 8am, 12 pm type tourneys. Figure those are mainly against the Canada/Europe/World softies, so the point totals may be a bit softer than those playing the evening tourneys loaded with talented Americans.

12am may benefit from the alcohol factor, I guess, but I gotta believe those 4am and 8am are the weakest.

OK... I want to be accommodating cuz I really want the USA to win this thing. So... I'm gonna go ahead and clear things up so I'll have availability for the early time-slots (where help appears to be needed).

If it makes it easier for everyone for me to just commit and say, "I'll play everyday at 1, or 2, whatever"... you guys let me know and I'll commit to it.
