SBR World Poker Cup 2012 standings: Team USA still kicking azz

One thing that I did notice this week was that the US did have alot of new players making the money. I believe that should at least limit the amount of points needed to qualify for the US team.

Because of the new players, it should only need take about 4700 points to qualify

Its funny how the 1st place person on Team USA Robert Wrath is honestly one of the worst poker players on SBR and The first place Canadian is the biggest luckbox on the site, I have never seen AlMasters get it in from in front he always gets it in from behind.

Well one reason that robertwrath and almasters are in front i because they actually play everyday. I might be near the top as well if I played in more than 60% of the tournies. But some guys deserve it because they get to play everyday

I have played in under 40% If I had played in at leasdt 70% i would be way ahead of almasters bates donkies.

As usual, no one from "world" would make USA. Only 3 people outside the USA would make the overall top 10.

That appears to be the key. We just need to play everyday. I will say that this was my first week that I actually played all 5 days. Still I only managed to cash in 2 of them

So what I've concluded based on reading posts from others is that the way to win is: rarely play, be a poor to below average player, get it in when you are behind and luck out, and live in a part of the world outside the US, Europe, and Canada where electricity and internet are rare.

Then you attempted to get my points by sitting with me at the 2-4 for about a week straight,after that time you were not able to get 1 point from me,au contraire,i got some of your chips.

Might as well chalk it up to me being a very lucky player,make yourself feel a little better about yourself.

I think it would be better to spilt the US into East and West coast. Obviously there is some kind of need to make this a bit more fair. The US #20 player would be at least in the top 5 of the other 3 divisions.

i'm going to play in a live tourney right now at the playground,1st time ever,then the 1st week of March i will be playing with Phil Laak in A 2k HU event,also 1st time.

Well sort of! But I have been out of town for most of January. But now I should be able to play most of the next 2 weeks at least. I could be ****** for the last week of qualifying though since I probably wont be able to play at all. So I need to get to 4700 points real damn soon
