Finished him off, Rudy constant pressure on the button, absolutely no room to breath. Guy writes a novel in his thread and the guy with the least amount of words wins.

people point out slow pay and stiffs in the points forum. i was only trying to point out hit n runs, all in disconnects, and people that change seats in this poker thread.
hit n runs i realize i cant do anything about. people can leave when they want, but i think its piss poor etiquette. i accused jakepeavy on the 1st page. i usually don't add people unless i have conclusive evidence. although i was wrong with him, and apologized to him personally.
people that change seats i directly correlate to stealing money (points in this case) from me.
and everyone knows disconnects are bs.
but this thread ended up turning into a pissing contest i guess, so if anyone else wants to play heads up send me a point and ill check this thread because i only do when im bored. i admit im not a winner and people say im a whiner for this thread but so be it
i sucked out on biteme 2 hands, although the majority of money didn't get in until after i got there. my guess is his best game is full ring
Thanks for the points rudy or maybe I should thank BiteMe
thanks for the 10 points Rudy

Rudy played well... I was victim to a coupla bad suckouts... he wins 2 buyins... congrats.
For all those happy... congrats to you too.
Doesn't change fact I'm a winning player long-term... I use my points freely... and I'll not shy to play Rudy again.
Rudy and I probably aren't all that far off from the etiquette stuff (tho there are differences), I just took real exception to his post after BD, DB and I had a very civil exchange regarding the subject.
It's not about being happy, Rudy raped me at the table the only time I've played him. I'm a terrible cash game player, prefer tourney's so it isn't saying much but he still played pretty solid imho. After hijacking the thread, you have to see the humor in you getting obliterated tonight. It happens to even the best players and they are after all, just points.

you took exception to it??...i never quoted your post when i was talking about how fukkin dumb the people/responses were. carseller was asking what a hit n run is, mightymaron was posting stupid images meanwhile he hits n runs (yes for points), supermann1s response was a joke, msutter acting like a bitch while i am just making a list of the hit n runs. i never even addressed you specifically until you started attacking me.

Well... it certainly appeared my post(s) was being specifically addressed/included in your "fukkin dumb" remarks; and like you, I don't take kindly to unprovoked 'attacks'. If I initially misinterpreted... my bad.
Similar to how you had grown tired of certain things (hit n' runs, etc.), I had likewise grown tired of the rampant boorish behavior I was constantly running into my short time here while simply trying to enjoy some online poker again after fukkin Black Friday (note:not including you in these comments).
I mean, I've politely asked people (I won't even mention names) to not talk about their cards during the hand and have been greeted with "Fuk u" and "Fuk off", been called "f\*g" and "piece of shit" for simply winning a hand and various other asinine stuff; hey, I've been around poker too long and know this comes with the territory so, whatever, I'm a big boy and deal with it the way I choose fit.
Specifically to my interpretation to your "fukkin dumb" remarks: again, if I misinterpreted my inclusion... my bad. (Although I do think there was a better way to get your point across than your "fukkin dumb" tact, but admittedly, that's just an opinion.)
I feel I really am an easy guy to get along with: I never berate players at the table/posters (how they're playing, suckouts, opinions, etc..) and only respond with umbrage when I interpret provocation.
As for my interpreted verbosity : I come from a Usenet background, where the culture is to flesh things out, with the realization that one is speaking to many (people following along) and not just responding to the poster. Consequently, that culture encourages adding info, entertainment, etc. -- tho this doesn't seem to translate to forums.
Anyway, Rudy... in all sincerity, best of luck with your 300k quest (and it would be kinda kewl if you ever threatened it) and I'm sure our paths will cross again sometime at the tables -- although the kids really do luv the hell outta those pizza cards so it might be awhile!

Hard to be sure a person has done it on purpose though. Do the rules work differently if a person has used their 2 free disconnects? ie: can they only do it twice on purpose anyway?

Yes, Opt... they can only do it twice (2 too many, obviously) and then their hand will just be folded if they try to go for Round 3.
In theory, of course, the disconnect protection is designed to protect a player that has been disconnected thru no fault of their own (and let's face it, I think we've all encountered glitches in SBR's poker servers, witness today's reports even) BUT, there absolutely exists the scumbags that angle-shoot and disconnect ON PURPOSE so they can showdown the hand without putting in anymore chips.
I had it happen to me the other day (forget the player).

For better or worse, here is the listing of players named in this thread for hit n' running/disconnecting (just add from here if one so wishes):
Do these people that get "disconnected" normally return in time for the next hand? I think it happened today, if not, this guy disconnected at the perfect time for his hand (imo) He ended up winning but I don't think he wanted to have to call another bet on the river, so he decided to "disconnect" instead?

sometimes shit happens and there is nothing you can do about it, but if its during a specific point in the hand where its questionable, i'd turn the name or hand over to sbr and let them look into it further.
ive been adamant about them getting rid of this feature and they wont.

TL;DR
- Guy doubles up
- Plays a few hands and then "disconnects" during the hand and returns in time for the next hand
- Plays 7 hands and then leaves
- Returns after 4minutes
- Plays normally for the next >30mins
I could be wrong but it just seemed to me like he thought he was ahead in the hand (in a bad spot though) but didn't want to risk having to call anymore chips that he had just won a few hands ago. Then to add to it, I think he leaves and tries to rebuy with much less but he is not allowed... Apart from the pot size (it was going to get a lot bigger IMO) of that one hand, the whole sequence makes perfect sense to me.
If I'm wrong tuna, I apologise
I feel like that guy that filled this thread with his own essays a while back

I think it is worth looking into. Its funny some guys just happen to disconnect when its a big pot or big bet (in this case 12x the amount bet on the flop).
Surely SBR has some type of filter where they can view his disconnected hands and see if it is a habit.
DanKelly whether purposely or not was turning his hand into a bluff and it didn't work out because of a disconnect. Whether on purpose or not he should not lose the hand because the other guy didn't/couldn't call in my opinion.
Just say no to all in disconnects allowed in the ring games

I agree, that's the confusing thing for me too but I think he did it more to avoid having to call a raise or all in on the river (protecting his fresh double up). I think when he left and rejoined a few minutes later, he would have bought in with whatever his original buyin was, if he was allowed.
Anyway, I sent Lou a PM and it's been forwarded to the poker tech to look at
Edit: Looking at his points log, these were/are his last points and took them all to the casino after leaving poker...
I hit and run the other day. I sat with 100 on 2/4 lost it, rebought 100. grinded up to 300 and then won a 600$ all in hand. The 600 pot made my rollover clear... so i left to start on a new rollover. Why wouldnt I????
Now as far as the shortstack.... sometimes I like playing shortstack to force aggression against me.
