#7I just started in February, thanks to the great promo SBR was running that month. I really enjoy the game and have played once at a casino and in one live tournament. This is a really good place to learn the basics of the game, some good players here IMO.Comment -

#8I started playing poker with my dad's drunk friends while camping about 8 years old.
we played jacks or better trips to win
I took about three hundred dollars that weekend.
His friends were pissed.
And I stole a beer or two from their cooler.
But that's how I roll.Comment -

#14Started in 06, needed a second income. Dropped $300 on, lost it asap. Bought $300 in poker books, sat and read everything for 6 months. Came back, Made 500ish a month since. Rush Omaha was my gold mine before black friday @ FTP. I'm still waiting on my FTP Point Swag which will probably never come.Comment -

Given I don't have a lot of money, I don't play a lot. I generally play at the 1-2NL tables @ Casino Niagara a few times a year. FYI, Sinmiedo is there more than I am.
Fallsview is a little rich for my blood. it is 5-5 and 5-10 I think, plus I hate that timed rake.
Cheers.Comment -

#16Started playing in 1995 or so for money, stuff like 5 card draw, stud, etc.... About 2003 the bars in my area started having free Hold Em tournamets and that's when I started playing NLHE. First site I ever joined was Pokerroom dot com.Comment -

hell, party poker was already closed to US players by then.
i can remember being able to transfer off a site and into your checking account in a matter of minutes. like literally win a hand, cashout and buy beer with it that night.Comment -

#20I miss the days when US players could play at these sites. I used to grind $20 5 player SNG's on Pacific all day. EASY MONEY. In fact, every time I see these sites mentioned I think the country I live in sucks!!Originally posted by CollegeOverUnderI started playing online when I was 12 years old before the moneymaker effect happened.
