House game. Community cards are As Ks 8s 7s 6h. I have Js Jd, opponent has Qs Qd. Isn't it a tie since the As is on the board? He insist he wins since he has a Qs over my Js. Please help.

ya u gotta use ur 7 cards to make the best possible hand. like how nitty showed it. if at the third card urs is lower than his he's got the better hand. In that case he had the nuts and if he called your bet its his loss because he had the best possible combo out thereComment -

i agree. If you can't fully understand your game, poker don't play it with money. You can enhance yourself while playing practice games or with some friends. Read a book and know the strategies our poker Legends had used.

Just as a 9 high straight beats an 8 high straight, same thing goes for flushes. An Ace high flush beats a King high flush. If both people have the same high flush, you look at the next highest card, if the same you look at the same next highest card and so on. The only way there can be a flush push is if all 5 cards on the board are higher than the flush cards in both peoples hands.Comment -
