There's brick & mortar or dog track/casino rooms, but not everyone has the time or logistics to do this.

You still have the smaller sites, Bodog, Merge, Cereus among others, but none are like PS or Tilt. Each have their disadvantages though. For example, BD has it's disadvantages because of multi-tabling issues and the MTT/SNG players won't be able put in the volume they once were able to. Others don't allow HUDS.

What I believe is going to happen is that the sharks will scatter and go to other sites, move to a different country, or play live, but the fish will not. The majority of the fish will give poker up all together. The player pool is going to get a little tougher. PS/FT/UB pumped millions of advertising dollars into the poker machine to drive new players to poker. That in itself will hurt all sites.

Myself, I've played on Bodog off and on for around 7 years. So for now, Bodog will have to do.

Of course, I could always pick up a different hobby. Porn offers a lot more good beats than bad ones.

i agree with you, i think that Bdog and the merge network( a better soft) will pick up a lot of action, in fact i belive that they already did.
imo merge is a better place to play, and the fish will make it there somehow, my only concern is the bots in bodog and merge, where they are happy and collecting.
porn still a good option, however, i do have other hobbyes like wine making , and i m very good at it, any time you are arrund toronto drop by for a good glas of cabernet ( no porn)

I was lestening to a pod cast from poker radio saying that this is just the begining and the smallers poker rooms are very concern because of the follow up from the DOJ.
Aparently power poker also shut down US players.
Since i m in canada it is not afecting us yet, however, i know that what ever the US does Canada will follow as well as the UK and other cuntries.
Maybe brick and morther will be the only way to go for now , and of course, SBR.

It was my understanding absolute and ultimatebet were included in the pokerstars and fulltilt debacle.

Bodogs traffic has already picked up I am sure it will continue. The increase so far is nice especially for late night, I just hope they don't get to big like stars and tilt.
