Caught? I was ahead the whole way. I had a feeling I was going to get a call from Mike with anything marginal as I was bullying the crap out of everyone of his blinds because I generally don't like him. Had a feeling you didn't have a hand to put all your chips in 11 handed with an above average stack, was kind of right.


Anywho, wrote the update for about 45 minutes last night when I lost power. ******* sucks donkey dick. Will have it today.

No offense, but AQ is a lot better hand than 44 because it has a good chance against a huge variety of hands whereas 44 is at best 53% and often 15%. If you suspect someone is going to call with a marginal hand, all the more reason NOT to put them allin when you have 44.

That is certainly true. I don't know the situation or anything, so its impossible to say how I would have played it. From what I saw, you certainly played well. The AA vs. 99 miracle was just a horrid situation that worked out for you. I certainly wouldn't have folded in your position either.

In any case, I got lucky on a crucial hand to move up from forth to first today. A10 (me) vs. 77 (him) on A 10 7 flop. We both get allin and he has me covered slightly. I had twice your outs (4), but obviously was a huge dog nonetheless. River was a 10. I cruised to a first place win from there.

Looks like I need more work on my game when the table get short. I crapped out at 4th tonight. I've finished 3rd a total of 3 times.

I think I'll buy a book on how to play tournaments.
