Poker Disconnects

worst night ever ... over a dozen disconnects while at first table, cost me at least 1500 pts/chips

was so painful to put up with I gave up and committed chip suicide just to end my suffering

Ya, same with me, the disconnects started again yesterday for me... it really sucks when it happens.

I have tried all of the suggestions I have seen so far, (e.g. WinXP SP3 mode, run as administrator, turned off Auto-Muck).

Hope this gets resolved before Saturday. I really dont want to have to worry about disconnects during the tourney.

If you have a decent computer and internet connection, you won't.

emoney - Ive got an 8gb i5 machine running nothing in background, ethernet cabled direct to the router with an 8mb connection and had issues all but one or two nights running vista, win7 or ubuntu.

turning automuck off did help a bit but the last night I gave up in frustration and allin'd with nothing to end the suffering ...

Trying to play in the tournament with wireless connection on my laptop and had to give up. About 5 disconnects in the first 15 minutes.

all the tourney's I've played in I was not disconnected even one time..until last night that is, was dc'd about 10-12 times in 40 minutes of play or so..

Most important thing you must do about disconnects is that you must bring in all in disconnect protection.
It is stupid some guy go all in with small stack and you just call him,in that moment you get disconnected and he win pot no matter what is outcome.
This is total BS.This aint fair.

same ole song and dance....did the ping test.....gathered all my data and reported it and nothing changes, getting booted out of the game sucks

Today my internet connection with Fulltilt hosed me from being in the money. It would not reconnect for almost half an hour. Top 540 got paid in the $5000 FTPA freeroll, I placed 551st. The rest of the internet was available including Cake poker.

Are these disconnects still a regular occurrence? I played today for the first time and I had at least 10. In the end just had to play fold or all in.

One of the main reason I stopped playing online poker was the disconnect glitch that would happen every so often. I would notice it more on larger pot sizes and with potential winning hands very frustrating.

I've had no problems with my older PC with Vista but had a bunch of disconnects with my new i5 laptop.

I never have problems with disconnects. First time i have played poker on here in about a week. Make it to the final 12ish and disconnected. By the time I reconnect it is down to 2. I finished in 4th so it wasnt too bad, but I wanted to play it out!

yeah poker d/cs can be super frustrating, especially during a huge cash game pot!!
