The majority of SBR users are Windows based, so right now that is the area of focus; but there are some easy alternatives that Mac users can take to get onto SBR Poker.
1. Boot Camp: Install a copy of Windows on your Mac. I've done this myself and needed no instruction, Windows 7 runs on my Mac equally as good (if not better) then any PC I've used.
2. Wine: Wine is a free, open source application that seems to work by converting the application extensions.
3. Crossover: This is a relatively cheap program that one SBR Poster has reported works. It works similar to Wine.
4. Parallels: A virtual emulator can be used to run Windows. This is probably the worst of the options since it is more resource intensive and slower than the others. The other options on this list would run the application at Windows speed.

Any hope for getting SBR poker for Mac? I don't know enough about computers to try those options and really don't want to mess anything up.

the Wine option didn't work out for me. Everything installed fine, the graphics were just messy and I couldn't see any cards. I did notice a new version of the sbr poker installed recently on my pc and will try it out again to see if it's any better.

Anyone use wine? It seems like it is a huge file that will crush my computer...
