Online Poker May Be Out in Norway
Looks like the U.S. is not the only one that wants to ban online poker.

Online Poker May Be Out in Norway

The Norwegian culture minister may be taking a page from US legislation about online poker, according to various sources. Trond Giske may offer up legislation similar to the U.S. Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act (UIGEA) in Norway, which could ban online poker in that country. This is interesting news considering the first woman main event champion at the World Series of Poker is Norwegian Annette Obrestad, who won the World Series of Poker Europe this month. Obrestad won one million pounds sterling and is known primarily as an online poker player.

As a whole Norway produces the best poker players in the world IMO. It's unfortunate to see countries following in the States' footsteps as opposed to viewing the US as a bunch of nut-job zealots and doing the opposite of US policy.

What's worst, doing something stupid, banning internet gambling, or following someone else's stupid move?
