omaha hi/lo

can someone explain what the difference is between omaha hi/lo and omaha 8 or better? I see them listed as different games in the WSOP schedule.

It might be that one of the tournaments is pot limit and the other is limit. Both terms mean the same thing but I've seen more pot limit tournaments labeled as hi-lo and more limit tournaments labeled as 8 or better
