My girlfriend makes me want to jump off a bridge.Her son is the biggest brat that I've ever dealt with.Poker is the only thing that gives me sanity.It's a nice outlet for someone who is miserable---

I know--I agree--It takes me to another world.It's "The Great Escape" from people who are a drain-that just can't live and let live----Thank god for poker---I consider myself a great player but the next time that I lose a hand,I'm going to let it roll off my shoulders and soak in what a great game that I'm playing

It sucks---I hate to change my life or other people but this person has known me for 1 out of 38 years on earth and talks to me like I have to answer for everything.I know kids are innocent but her 7 year old son is a brat-really goofy--hits his mom---pees in his pants because he's lazy-----I HIDE AND PLAY POKER AND MY GIRLFRIEND LOOKS AT ME LIKE SHE WANTS TO THROW THE LAPTOP OUT THE WINDOW---POKER IS MY OUTLET--money is important but I play for the competition and just to escape and deal with people that I don't know and won't judge me----

Poker is a good outlet when you're running at or above EV. When you run under it you just want to punch puppies so I think your outlet will not seem so rosy when you hit a downswing.

If you're so unhappy maybe you should get a new girlfriend without a brat for a kid? Lots of fish in the sea.

agreed with mrmarket poker is fun when your running equal or above EV but when bad beats start stringn themselves closer together it can be a miseraable game sometimes good luck in the future

Poker is good if you can obey rule #1 and never deposit. You will be finding lots of good poker available right here very soon. I would also suggest to explore some other forums as well as being here. PokerSpace is great as well as holdemchat. Lots of tourneys available through GamingForumNetwork. I am no1here at all if you need any assistance. Life sucks for me too but poker makes my day.
