Nice accomplishment but other than those 2 wins, she has done very little in terms of significant cashes. Maybe in time, she will put her name in the discussion but as of now, a resounding NO.

OK, fair enuf. Of the women above:
1) Victoria Coren Mitchell impressed me the most. She won two big European tournaments.
2) I watched Okamoto's play during those hands. She runs some great semi-bluffs. And you don't always see that type of aggression from women.
3) The one that I'm CONVINCED is over-rated = Kristen Foxen (formerly Bicknell). Her style of play is similar to her husband Alex's. IE, semi-bluffing at a high rate. If opponents are too scared to pick her off, then she'll continue to go deep in tournaments.

That is funny because if you forced me to choose one, I would probably go with Foxen as the best CURRENT female player. She plays the highest stakes and has had a lot of success. Yes, she is very aggressive but I do not see anything wrong with that as it is far better than being passive.

In addition, regarding the list of popular female poker players in the OP, as far as I know most of them are not very active nowadays, if at all.

Two things I love about Kristen. She's fearless, and she's ever so easy on the eyes.
I'm partial to Vanessa Rousso myself, like Foxen, Rousso is just as sexy, and just as fearless, long story short (See Jake, I can do it)
You can't go wrong with either one of them.

I was always under the impression that Vanessa Selbst was light-years ahead of all the other women players in total earnings, but I never really gave it a second thought.

Just for shits and giggles, I went to the Hendon Mob website.
Selbst (as per Hendon) has earned 11.9 million.
Foxen has earned 10.9 million.
I didn't realize it was that close.

You would think with almost 12 million in poker earnings Vanessa would go out and buy herself a personality.

nasher, Rousso has not played much of anything in about a decade to my knowledge. Last I read about her, she was enjoying the lesbo techno scene(not that there's anything wrong with that)...

Selbst has barely played in that time frame either. I believe she went back into practicing law?

My under the radar female player is Loni Harwood(she is on Optional's list a few posts above). She is really good at navigating large fields.

I think the current best female player is either Maria Ho or Kristen Foxen. And I would've said the same thing without seeing any rankings. It's just sort of obvious if you've followed poker for the past few years.

Cherish Andrews deserves to be in the top 10 for sure. Brock Wilson's GF.
Liebert continues to play for a living and seems to do well so certainly can't knock her out of the top 10.

Kristen Foxen overrated? Not in my book. She's the top female player AINEC. Maria Ho would be the one I'd say is overrated. She sells action and that's the only reason she even plays any big buy ins these days. She's in the booth- I doubt she in beating anything above random $1ks and $2ks- which is still impressive, but not even close to being in talks of top 10 in my eyes.

ETay only gets noticed in tournament runs. She's a top 5 player for sure and only reason she isn't discussed is because similar to Harman- she focuses on limit/mixed games. Ebony luckboxed two high-rollers while probably having <10% of herself and only getting put in because she probably let Nagy smash. Loni was a fun player but I don't even think she plays anymore? Rousso, Selbst and many more moved into more lucrative careers. Both were very good at one point though.

Fair retorts on KFoxen. A few comments:
1) I met Jennifer Tilly at the WSOP a few years ago. She must have some money. Because she keeps playing.
2) As far as KFoxen, I know she's had results. I'm talking about her playing style. I never see players countering her. Similar to Alex. The Foxens get bluffs thru at way too high of a %.
