    True Story
Since WhiskeyJack told a story that was a good story until he threw in the part about the Indian Reservation which made it unbelievable, it still put me in a story telling mood.

I am sitting at Commerce Casino playing your standard $100 no limit buyin game. The flop comes and it is a jackpot board and at the river we needed one more card and we missed it. Then the guy to my right has this look on his face and just hearing the word jackpot makes him think about this table that he was a part of.

I believe it was at the $500 buyin table. Story goes (and it has been confirmed by many of people). So there was this young guy being a complete jerk to this older lady. He just kept jawing at her and being a donkey but not in the sense of a bad poker player but in the other sense(jack ass). So the flop comes the turn hits and the river comes down and dirty. The young DONKEY of a personality player goes all in. The lady sits there and stops and stares for a little bit looking at her cards and looking at the board. She goes "You know what? you have been a complete jerk to me all day. I have a jackpot hand but I am going to fold it. I am already well off I don't need the money." She shows the cards to the guy sitting next to her and mucks it!!!!

The guy deserved it! I mean wow how can you just lay down a jackpot hand. I can only imagine his face and everyone on the tables face and their reactions. It must be nice to be well off and to throw that into his face but I feel bad for the people that would have gotten the table share I bet they chased him out the casino. Sh*t if a guy was a complete jerk to me all day and we hit the jackpot after the hand we can hug it out hahaha. I believe it was the super jackpot too which was at 150k.

2nd craziest jackpot story I heard was at the Morongo Casino where a husband hits the jackpot then the wife hits it on a different table less than 20 minutes later but I don't think that compares to the drama of the first story.

                  150k

                  And she doesn't need it.
                  Folds it.

If she really was that well of she should care less how someone is treating her at the table.
                  Just move on old lady.
Why would you punish others for your inability to deal with another.

I think she punished herself and everyone else.
                  Not him.
There is something wrong with her head.
                  That's for sure.

Part of Poker is the ability to separate yourself from emotion.
She should be ran out of the casino not him.
                  What a foolish Fold.

Wake up and do the right thing.

it was nice in concept how she screwed the jackass out of his share as well as rubbing it in to him about how much she really didnt need it, but still a double edged sword that hurts the one holding it more. she made one person eat his words but also made herself and potentially 7 other people suffer monetarily. she may not have needed the money, but why play poker, hit the jackpot, and then toss it just to feel like u owned some punk. honestly, i would have taken the jackpot and then made him feel even worse, especially since it would have been his sorry ass that lost the pot to her.

This lady obviously isn't a smart player. Unless she really is old and bored but then why not play higher limits? That's the point that makes it unbelieveable to me. You PLAY to WIN the GAME. That is all.

Ask anyone at the Commerce Casino about the story I am sure at least 10% of the people that play there has heard that story. I am not sure if she had the good end or the bad end of the jackpot but for the loser they would have had 90k of the 150k. 60% to the person that got the bad beat and 20% to the winner of the hand and 20% for table share. I agree with rink it was a double edged sword. If I had that type of money though I would have done the same thing in spite and just paid out the table share out of my own pocket to the rest of the table. Since I am not well off like that, I would have been like you A**hole come here and give me a hug after the hand and took my check and left.
