Is there any limitations that just allow you to create a new username and then transfer your money from your old account to your new one and get rakeback?

Well, if you use the same address, IP, or deposit information, they will close both accounts.

what site? if it's fulltilt, you can either email full tilt and ask them for rakeback, or email rakebackpros.com and see if they'll do something about it

It's fulltilt... i joined probably two months ago without knowledge of rakeback and if you can get an extra couple percentage on your side i'd like to have it.

ive made the mistake of making a non-rake-back account with fulltilt and when i went to make one with rakeback they closed the account with rakeback because it was a secondary account. they wont close the initial account as i have tried to ask them to do that twice. its bs but what can u do. if u dont take advantage of rakeback ur losing out on a lot of money that doesnt need to be spent.

I made a same mistakes when I started playing poker. If u did not signed Full Tilt via affiliatte u have a serious chance to get rakeback. See the rakebackpros.com.

Yeah, I wish I had rakeback. It would be the difference between making a profit and being even. I can hold my own, but when the online casino grabs their cut, my profit is almost zero. Three years of playing and about $481 profit. Not worth it for all the hours I put in. So I have been playing a little play money texas hold em on the facebook sites to catch my breath. I love seeing those achievements getting accomplished. Out of 64 offered, knocked out 25 of em in three days. It will get old tho, and I will return back to the cash tables.
When I play my Omaha Hi/Lo tables, I can play for 8 hours straight and have maybe a buck or two to show for it. I know the rake made more than I did. I go to a different website, same results. And another same thing. Hard to beat the juice.

Fulltilt will only allow to you to transfer affliates if you aren't already assigned one and most people are tied to one already... I've heard of some people who get around this by setting up a new account through a relative or spouse but this obviously has it own risks...

You might also look at a site like cakepoker or ultimate bet that offers decent rakeback and bonuses (and provides enough games for okay game selection) as you would probably get a better deal then at fulltilt anyhow... Pokerstars' point system can worked basically like rakeback but requires a high volume to get any significant percentage back...

If you clicked through on a link (similar to all the sportsbook banner ads here) when you signed up for fulltilt then you are tied to an affiliate who is making money off your play... The best way to find out is to find a rakeback provider (I used rakerebate.net and raketherake in the past but any big and established one will work for you) and have them check with fulltilt if you already tied to an affiliate or not and see if fulltilt will add them as your affliate... If you ever clicked through on a link directing you to fulltilt's site before you signed up you probably already are unless you cleared your cookies before downloading the software (which I'm assuming you probably didn't do)...

I see alot of threads in poker forums about people who just opened a new account to get rakeback and fulltilt quickly catches them and closes the new account and transfers them back to the old account so I would probably not go that route...

Just play on Stars. Once you get to GoldStar for the month, you get better rakeback [Through their FPP store] than you get on FTP anyways.
