Ivey is a formidable player...so long as he is not on a final table. He seemingly switches personalities as soon as he hits the final and manages to donk off his his chips early on.

Is that Jeff Shulman the Jeff Shulman of Card Player Magazine? I have seen him play a couple of times on TV and he seems fairly adequate...perhaps I have underestimated his skill.

yeah I do think Jeff schulman will do well and He will most certainly be working on his game for the next few months. As really they all should take some of the million advance and hire some coaches to stop any leaks in there game and watch any available footage once the WSOP on Tv begins to air.

doesnt look like a well known final table.so i would love to see phil mak it happen this year

Phil Ivey is the Michael Jordon of No Limit Holdem!

I think Phil Ivey is in a class by himself. He is Sooooo much better then the other Phil and twice as good as most of the other pros. I also suspect he is in the top 5 best ever cash game players.

He has a great full Tilt commercial that can't play on TV because it is too racy where he comes home from a long tournament and their are at least two guys in bed with his TV commercial wife. they claim that they were just helping here flip her mattress or something like it, ha-ha.

He has the same blank look and grin on his face and he just says OK well he'll go pick up the kids and, the announcer comes on and states that if you have Ivey's poker face you can make the main event too!

He is the Michael Jordon of Poker and the best pound for pound ever! His nick-name should be Phil "Money" Ivey/

he donks off his chips when he gets to the final table? the guy won another 2 bracelets this year at the world series.

he has plenty of room to come back at this final table....should be great tv

i guess you don't watch too much poker. he has already won 3 bracelets this year and has won about 8 total already at his young age. it is only a matter of time before he has the most career wsop wins, there is nobody better.
