Opinion on this World Poker Cup hand from Monday
I almost timed out on this hand and finally hit call. Lot of things I was thinking about here including the pot odds, my stack size, his stack size, and his possible holdings. I thought he could have a medium pair, a few flush draws, or A9 A10 AJ. AA KK QQ AK or prob AQ he would have pushed preflop, and while I knew I could easily be up against an Ace I couldn't get past the pot odds and the gut feeling he would want to check an Ace there at least some of the time. 2 pair or a set he definitely checks. I really don't remember if he was playing tight or loose. My gut feeling ended up being wrong but I happened to spike a Jack on the river.

he shoves after hitting ace on the flop (after initially raising preflop then calling your re-reaise--everyone puts him on a big hand)... u know the rest.... calling with a overwhelmingly strong understanding he hit his ace and is now jammin' it in.... you've got no srt or serious flush draw, so essentially calling with a 10-12 percent chance of hitting the hand......

cankid solid "peavy type" player, 9/10 times ur gonna lose.... bad call in my opinion....

but that's why you're Jack Spiker, MVP!!!!

lol.... you are a shitty enough player to know you're way behind and only a 1/10 chance of sucking out and make the call....

your idiotic play and reliance on sbr suckouts to save your ass have shown us that time and time again....

keep makin' calls with a ten percent chance of winning, dumbass.....

no.... willy doesn't play nearly as wild/pathetic as grivas.... woiuldn't call his play idiotic.... called that 1/10-9.5 call poor play, and several were watching, and I bet everyone of them put cankid on the ace and were surprised to see willy turn over jacks, and even more surprised to see him spike the two outter.....

kudos to him for hitting the hand; hopefully he's used up all his sbr karma and will only take a second today, after helping us take out whoever world has in the match....

and, i wouldn't call dlow a dumbass, either.....

I will, however, call him by his new hollywood sounding name, "Detective Jack Striker, MVP"

ps, if it's grivas in the hand, as opposed to a solid player like cankid, I'd have voted "excellent call".....

cankid probably had an ace, but he could have had all sorts of other cards as well: suited connectors, small pairs, etc. Pot odds are 2:1 so you had to call.
