I am flying to Vegas tomorrow to play in the $1000 WSOP bounty tournament

I did pretty well in this tournament last year. I actually got 6 bounties pretty early on. Because it is a small buy in tournament for a lot of the pros, these guys were playing wild and would go all in with anything since at least last year you could rebuy.

Some of those 6 bounties last year were actually real small pots since they had just lost an all in to someone else whom they had covered by a few chips.


I am looking at the playing the main event on Monday or Tuesday. I have made the money in the main event in 2 out of the last 3 years. Making the money in the main is actually easier than most of the other WSOP tournaments since you get some people who won local qualifiers and they have NEVER played a tournament with even 60 minute levels. Well the WSOP is extremely slow at 2 hour levels. It changes how you play that is for sure

I noticed that in the tournament I played. Start w/ 150 BB, and levels were one-hour. So, you play relatively deep-stack for a longer time. Much deeper than most tournaments I play, which tend to be very turbo. In turbo-tournaments, just feels like they want to clear the room.

Super turbo bounty did not have rebuys last year.
