The #SocialExperiment is an attempt to create social interaction amongst players. Cell phones, sunglasses, headphones, and
hoods will only be allowed outside of the tournament area, or on break.* Escalating penalties will be assesed for ruleviolations, starting with 3 hands, and a minimum of one lap after registration closes. Complimentary updates on any worldnews will be provided by tournament staff. Registration and single re-entry available until the start of level 9 (4:30pm).All levels will last 30 minutes until the money has been reached, then 40 minutes. 1 in 8 entries will be In the Money.Day 1 will conclude at the completion of level 22. Day 2 will return Sunday 4/30 at 1pm with 40 minute levels and play to awinner. Final table will be 9 handed with 60 minute levels. Redraw at 27 and 10 players. *Exceptions will be made whenmedically necessary and/or for those with special needs.
Scheduling a few shots at the Cal Poker Championships and see this interesting twist. I don't know how I feel about less distracted players, I like the guys that are more interested in Instagram at my tables.
