That being said, I'm not sure you have an edge in last longers against a guy who plays poorly and tries to fold his way to a mincash. Good players like you and I run deep or go home; poor-playing nits like bobbo will mincash more often and probably come out ahead in last longers. There's a reason poker winnings aren't distributed evenly to everyone who cashes: a 12th place out of 30 doesn't mean much, and the guy who takes 1st in one out of 10 tournies shows more skill than the guy who takes 9th in half of them.

Last longers are fun casual bets and edges aren't necessarily super important when yo're having fun, but it's not a good idea to feed a confirmed stiff either, sets a bad example for other would-be stiffs.
