Why not just issue points based on where each person was in the tournament instead of penetrating everyone over 75% into the tournament.

Nah, it's bullshit. Don't run a contest when your software can't even handle something as simple as a penetrating tournament. Or OR man up and admit your software has an issue, issue points based on the standings when it went down and be done with it. Don't punish people an hour in because of your own mistake.

1st would have put me on the confederates for sure, and neck and neck in our points bet, plus right outside of the top 15 for the year.

They'll quickly take points away from people for joining the wrong tournament months ago, when none were marked as to which was the real one, but just tell everyone in the tournaments that penetrate up an hour in to go penetrate themselves and play on Saturday.

Since there were only 13 players left when tourney went off line & 13th place was down to 200 or so chips, the fairest thing to do is you finish in the place you were at the time tourney went down. SBR can probably figure out that info from hand histories. Do the right thing here, rescheduling so anyone can play obviously isn't the correct solution.

I agree with bobbywaves. It's not like 13th was close to 12th. 13 was at 200 chips, 12 was around 1400.

Reschedule for Saturday and everyone joins. It's one thing if the tournament was 15 minutes in but we were about to go on break.

What your stack size was when tournament crashed, divide into the 60k and that is your % of prize pool.

Nice, I meant to take a SS but when I went to the server dropped. Hate that it's missing my 2950 hand that I was showing my KK when it dropped, but whatever.

Hell, divy the 2k points up based on chipstack. Replaying isn't fair to anyone, especially when the makeup tournament magically fills up.

No way they will do any of this. They will do a make up tourney where everyone can join in over the weekend and enter, just like last time this happened. Total BS but it is what it is.
