when you are non-pro and become a pro it resets your points to 3000.. So does that mean i can get to 6000 then renew my membership with 3k, then i will still have the other 3k in my account after i go pro. The way its stated, it seems legit

#2If you were pro before making you eligible to renew with pts, then your 6k example should work.Comment -

#3be careful here..... most non-pros using pts to become pro lose all pts above 3k (ie, they evaporate into thin air)....
not sure if having previously been a pro makes a difference in this analysis once you lose pro status.....Comment -

#4So you're allowed to renew with points even if your Pro status lapses? I always thought you needed to be Pro and renew in the final 30 days to do it with points.Originally posted by bobbywavesIf you were pro before making you eligible to renew with pts, then your 6k example should work.Comment -

#5That's my understanding from prior threads/posts.Originally posted by SlaninaSo you're allowed to renew with points even if your Pro status lapses?
Although I never actually tested theory by allowing pro status to lapse, in a concentrated effort not to get tens of thousands in pts confiscated.Comment
