are you retarded? you have no political knowledge whatsoever. The Republican Party is the party of low taxes. In fact, almost all of them have signed the Grover Norquist pledge never to raise ANY taxes. None of the democrats have pledged not to raise taxes (because that's all they do). The only way Republicans can raise ANY tax is by a proportional reduction in the income tax.

Democrats love high taxes. You are in North Carolina? you should understand. Your liberal democrats spent so recklessly that you started taxing the poorest people in the state 7% income tax (with only a 2500 standard deduction). That's the highest rate in the country. That amounts to taxing people that make federal minimum wage at 7%. taking the 2500 standard deduction into account, that's equal to taxing them 5.7% on all their income. The Republican governor that just got elected cut the tax rate for the poor and for the middle class from 7% to 5.7% and increased the standard deduction from 2500 to 7500. Yes, republican cut taxes for the POOR and for the MIDDLE CLASS from the democrats' rate which was HIGHER taxes on the POOR and MIDDLE Class.

You democrat liars say you only want to tax the rich "millionaires and billionaires," yet you stomp on poor people and on the middle class with high tax rates. Democrats in NC were taxing people in severe poverty at a 7% income tax rate. That is absolutely outrageous. That's not even mentioning property tax, sales tax, gas tax, restaurant tax, tobacco tax, import tax, cable tax, cell phone tax, electricity tax.

Democrats are the party of high taxes. Republicans are the party of low taxes.

And yes, democrats are liars when they say they only want to tax the richYou democrats want to tax everyone up the ass, not just the rich. Taxing the poor at 7% is outrageous. And do you think that a 35cents/gallon tax on gasoline hurts the poor more or the rich more? what about electricity tax? sales tax? tobacco tax? cell phone tax? insurance tax?
