My Poker Rollovers Expired - No Warning/PM/Nothing, Restore?
I sent an email to SBR several days ago about the situation, email I sent is quoted below:

I just logged into the SBR Poker program and noticed a bunch of my rollovers are gone, I had a really big one I think it was like a 8k rollover that is now missing. I hope they didn't expire or something because I was never given any kind of notice or anything, ever since I started my new job I haven't had much time to play, I was hoping they could be restored so I could play them. I think this is a reasonable request especially since I was never sent out any email/PM warning me they would expire. Could you help me out here?
SBR responded and basically said I'm screwed and sent me this link (http://forum.sbrforum.com/poker/2217...oints-faq.html). I think 180 days is more then reasonable but this expiration time is not listed anywhere except on that thread above that was posted in March. I was never sent any PMs/emails letting me know my rollovers were about to expire, and there is nothing listed in the SBR poker program notifying/warning you of any kind of expiration time on your rollovers. I had a few big rollovers, one was like a 8k rollover from a big tourney win and now that's gone. What do you think Shari, doesn't it seem like I'm getting shafted here? Is it that hard for SBR to restore my rollovers so I can play them out? I'm a very understanding guy, if there was any kind of notice in the SBR poker program or anything sent out to me and I forgot about it or something then I'd have no complaints here, that would be my fault. But that rule is listed in some obscure poker thread, like I'm suppose to read everything in the poker forum or something .....hopefully SBR makes amends here, I think my complaint is valid.

Darling I'm probably the worst person to ask as I've had so many expire on me I could probably have bought your whole neighbourhood Xmas gifts last year if I'd just paid attention. In fact I have some major ones due to expire again within the next week from tourney wins in April. So I can only tell you the same response I got when I cracked it over a year ago: "This has always been the rule with poker points. Just as major poker sites don't send you a reminder when your bonus is due to expire, we can't sync that info automatically and due to the number of people who have multiple rollovers expiring at various dates it's unrealistic to expect someone to be hired to send reminders manually." I guess that's the only fair way to handle it since if they restored mine or yours then they should've restored everyone else's and then what's the point of having an expiry at all. Sorry Nitty xo

Rollover is documented as a rolling 180-day period from the date they were last played. So hypothetically you could have played just a few hands on each rollover a day before they expire, then you would be given a fresh 6 months on each rollover. I'll be absolutely shocked if SBR makes amends, but hope they do. Good luck.

So glad you mentioned 6mths. For some reason I had stuck in my head 3mths and between a sick kid, 2 jobs and I'm going off to Thailand in a few weeks I was like there's no hope of my rolling them over. So yet again more wins pissed away. Thank you sweetpea xo

Never knew about this, can't imagine how many points have already been taken away from me without me even knowing. I barely have time to play and when I do there's nobody else playing. Can't we have the option to roll these in the sportsbook as well? Such a waste of points and time buying into these tournies for nothing.

This is crazy, I PM'd Lou about this over a year ago and was told that they never expire.... so that was a lie?

Can someone explain to me how this rollover system works? I'm fairly new to SBR. I just cashed in two tourneys throughout the last two days and the points haven't transferred over to my account yet

you have to rollover each cash 3x by playing in ring games.

When you launch SBR Poker, there's 2 tabs on the left: Tourneys and Texas Holdem. Click on Texas Holdem for ring games and when you try to buy in your tourney points will show up there.

Bummer , I just wish they would just at least have some kind of disclaimer in the cashier section where it shows your rollovers. How hard it would be to say, "WARNING: Any rollovers not played within 180 days from the last date they were played will expire." I logged in a few weeks ago or so and was going to play my 8k rollover but there were no big tables going so I just exited out, if I knew I could have just played 1 hand and it would have given me another 180 days......

Wish SBR would have that built into the SBR poker program in the cashier section like I mentioned above, at least give people a heads up, as many updates that have been rolled out this seems like a major oversight. I guess nobody as really given this much concern since this issue probably doesn't pop up much since most people probably play their rollovers fast.

In my ~ 2yrs here I've seen the 180-day RO dealio discussed/linked to/casually mentioned NUMEROUS times on the poker forum; isn't it at least a lil bit incumbent upon us all to, at the very least, read the forum from time to time when participating in things the forum offers?

IOW, even a casual reader of the poker forum should've inadvertently stumbled across the 180-day rule somewhere along the line.

Fuk'n bummer man! A royal flush ass fuk'ing courtesy of sbr once again! Rollover points should never expire! The damn poker client is "still" here and poker is "still" being played! Why the fuk should someone lose their rollover points because they have a life or a change of schedule and can't play as often?

I can understand if you don't renew your Pro status, misconduct, like vpn cheat centaurscam, or just quit the forum and don't show back up for a year or so. All are reasonable cases of why points would be forfeited. But to take away a guy's rollover who is still a Pro by the way, just reeks of pure gestapo bullshit! Total ripoff of something that was won and earned by a sbr pro member , now being taken away because of an ignorant rule many players are obviously not aware of!
