    Hand of the Day 04/23
    .50/1.00 6-Max online

Bag Lag player raises to $3.00 UTG ($95)

Big station EP +1 calls ($60)

folds around to you with AcQc on the button ($105) and re-raise to $12

blinds fold, both UTG and EP+1 call

    Flop is Kc Jc 8d

UTG fires out a $15 bet both station boy and you call

Turn is a Td. You've now made the straight. Action to checked to you. Here's the kicker. There is a $50 bonus for getting a royal straight flush.

Do you bet the turn with the chance of folding out the other two players in the hand? Do you take a free card with a small shot at the royal flush and hope they were either slow playing something or catch something on the river good enough to call a river bet from you?

*Edit - wanted to put in a 4th option as shove but you have to enter these poll answers at lightning speed around here.

    You mean royal flush, right?

I'd bet small in the hopes of drawing more action. Wouldn't shove or check.

Our chance of hitting the 1 out for the royal bonus is only 2%. A 2% chance at $50 is an expected value of $1 in "bonus equity". A buck. In this pot the bonus isn't even worth a consideration. Just play the hand as you normally would. Here the pot is already quite large and I'd bet on the smallish side (less than half pot) to set up for an easy river shove. It's an action board with lots of ways to have pair+draw hands and both players are bad, so if you bet the right amount you'll usually get called by at least 1.

Ill Bet there ....there probably is 2 pr maybe trips but if someone is holding the AQ with you give him a chance to jam back the station probably calls with high pair if you get all in with the same hand you have the FL draw

You mean I should start posting j5os in the BB facing a 5bet scenario? Yea...this one is a little simple. I was ultimately going to ask at what point would you check? 1/2 with a bad beat jackpot of a few thousand?

I get these hands from a few different sources and some days they're pretty bland. I'll be glad to stop posting these and relegate the poker forum to bitch and stake me threads. It's pretty much the last bastion of any actual poker talk we have here.

I would say a half pot bet is good here.

And I like this so please do not let the negative people make you quit!

I would bet about half or a little less than half the pot. The only hand I think you need to worry about is KJ hitting a boat on the river.

                      wanted to post this somewhere:

final table tonight, AA vs. JJ all in

flop is 555, turn is 5

then d2bets' AA vs. Beerdog's JJ all in two minutes later, beer flops a J
