Sit-N-Go Tourneys are Now Open

guess not enough people played them. i mean i sat for an hour at one of the tables while i did some work and nobody came. i dont blame sbr for taking them down.

Was it costing money to keep them open? Were you sitting at a 200 pt table or something? I played non stop both days and never waiting more than 15-20 minutes and that was 4am in the morning

They don't generate as much rake as the cash games. If people are playing sit and go's then most likely they're not paying max rake on action flops in the cash games every hand. It's all about the bottom line

makes sense, just kind of sucks since it would really only be until the weekend then there would be the regular sat/sun tourneys. Monday starts the new series so really would be only a day more or so of a little lost rake.

Bring back the Sit-N-Go Tourneys. SBR is killing poker one day at a time. How are people going to play if you only have them available for two days in the middle of a work week?

Well 2 days wasn't enough to decide if traffic was good enough or not. I know of at least 3 people that came in yesterday and didn't even know SNG was back.

If it was about rake, I would gladly sacrifice and give them the 10 points I lose a week playing the 25 cent table when I'm rolling over all those 20 point cashes to get SNG here for good.

one day i was playing poker heads up with this philippe character. when i beat him for a 20 pt pot you should see the trash talking he did. i said absolutely nothing. just let him rant. too tired that day to bury him. anyway just letting the forum know guy will go off on you if you beat him heads up.

i was sitting at the 50 pt heads up table for quite some time. and when i did play a couple of hours the 2 days that it was open lol it was heads up for 100-200 against korki. i dont know what it costs for them to keep it open. point is until 7-8 pm est it is dead. which is understandable cuz people are at work. but the ring tables have people playing through out the day. id like to have them back more then anyone , but what to do ?

and you did NOT play non stop both days. our time zones are different at the moment but i played/sat there until 2-3 pm in the afternoon EST. very few people came and went. and none of them were you , friggin night owl

Might be a case of SnGs diluting an already small number of regular players between numerous SnGs and ring games, but who knows. Rollover drives most of the poker traffic on SBR at the moment, so unless they let people buy into SnGs with rollovers, keeping SnGs around probably wouldn't hurt traffic/rake that much.

oh i know man i wasnt implyin anything towards you either. i think i placed the word "bud" the wrong way. meant it in a good way. fukkin posts you can never truly see what the person is really trying to say. im as pissed as you that they took them down bud. there i think i placed "bud" in an appropriate manner

Go Sit and Go tournaments back for full time.
Low rake on SNG- that is bullshit, you can won 1,2,3,4.. tournamets, that is low rake(rake vs win) but SNG is all for flips>more tournaments for win "money">big rake.
If is problem with rollover, cancel rollover in SNG or change for bigest time in SnG(maybe no hands but number of tournaments what we need played-I dont know I never was rollover in SnG)...
