    Good fold?
    Playing 1/2 NL

I got $200 in my stack and both players in hand have me covered

I have JJ in late position and raise to 10

The BB calls and the fishy old guy calls

    Flop comes 942 rainbow

The BB leads out for 12 and the fishy old guy raises to 30, I call and the BB thinks for a while and moves all in. The fishy old guy folds. I think the old guy had some shit hand like A9. Jeez out of all the possible hands I think the only one I'm beating is pocket 10 10. The guy seemed to have a little bit of a clue and just didn't see him over playing a one pair hand with a 9 in it. So I fold my hand.

I think if he did have a set it was a terrible way to play his hand as there were no likely draws out there and if he had just called and checked turn the fishy old guy would have likely hung himself with his shit hand.

Based on that information it sounds like a good fold.

Was one of the first hands I played and never played with this guy before. The only other time I seen him move in was about 30 minutes later on A83 flop. He bet and that same fishy old guy reraised and he moved all in and the fishy guy called with AQ. He flipped over A8 for top two but of course the fishy guys shit play gets rewarded with a "Q" on the river.

Based on this hand I have to think I was way behind on the earlier hand.

It just seems like he's begging for his trips to get called by a high pocket pair.

I like to raise a little bit less than standard. It brings in the shit hands like K4 suited, KJ, KT and other garbage and when I hit a hand I can bleed these fuks for three streets. Also my continuation or value bets don't have to be that large and if I get reraised it is easier to get away from hand.

Plus there are a lot of people that tell you what they have with there preflop raises.
              15+ always big pocket pair

I always raise preflop 10 or 11 if I can open or just one limper regardless of what I hold. I will raise more if 2+ limpers ahead of me.
