I have no problem with it....Whe you hit a big pot, it may cover your rollover. So many will leave & come back with new rollover. Other times you may need to eat or get some sleep. Not a big deal, come & go as you please. For those who complain, get over it.

I'm not sure why it's so hard to understand that this is simply a function of etiquette and social grace. If you have to go, or are scared to play, or just don't want to play past rollover then that's fine. Just open your fingers and use that lil' chat box to your lower right. "I'm leaving after then next 5 hands." "Rollover almost done" "I'm scared to play you HU". Whatever, just simple fukking manners.

If you win a big pot and immediately leave without saying anything and think that's OK, then so be it. I'd venture to say you wouldn't do that if you were playing HU live face to face with someone.

Do you hold doors open for people in public? If they hold them open for you, do you say thank you?
Do you let people merge in traffic? If someone lets you merge, do you give them the 'thank you hand'?
Do you say thank you and please when you are at a bar/restaurant and dealing with their staff?
Do you tip poker dealers after you win a good pot live?
If you are in an elevator and you see someone walk towards it and the door starts to close, do you hold it open?
Are you careful to not YAP at a high volume on your cell phone in public places?

If you answered NO to most of these questions, then by all means continue to hit and run without saying anything. Society hates you anyway.

my thoughts exactly about hitting and runs. No rule against it, but we live in a society and if you were raised correctly you know to do certain things in certain situations. Tad, laid out many of them in his post

I try to follow the etiquette, but only because poker people are so bloody precious about it.

Full count with a good contact hitter at the plate is a great time for a hit and run.

                  Wait....this is the poker forum.

                  Never mind.

I don't like the hit and run either. I have no problem with not playing HU as it can be a lot of luck involved. Now if you start HU, get a big hit, you shouldn't run. Now if the table goes from 4 or 6 to all of a sudden 2. Who cares if you stay or not?

Enkhbat let me tell you where to go

Take a left on Main Street

From there go 2 blocks and take a right

You should see a sign that says "fukk yourself"

                          You have arrived at destination

In all honesty, when I'm at rollover, I'm done, whether I've done well, or lost some poker points. My whole focus is to transform the poker points to real points. As stated earlier by another poster, I will give the common courtesy to tell people why I'm leaving. Some people have a problem with it, but it is what it is. I can understand why people might be upset at a real poker table, but this is the internet. People might be doing laundry, cooking dinner, etc. while they are playing, something of course, that you wouldn't be doing at a brick and mortar casino. A lot of the players don't have high expectations of the software, so why the hell do they have such high expectations of the players they are going against?

Every problem has its justifiable and understandable things. If you quit as soon as ur rollover is over I don't view that as hit and running. I think a common courtesy that u will be leaving when your rollover is over is a nice touch but I have no problem with that. Theres just certain things that people do that personally irk me. I have problems with people who start playing heads up and hit and run u after a big win. If someone wins a big pot 5 handed + and decides to leave that is there choice but HU/ short handed hit and running is the major problem I have
