Should I have folded KK here?
I kind of figured one of these guys had AA and maybe the other AK, but still called.

    Should I have folded?

Blinds are 25/50 and dealt KK in mid position.

bachngocduong, with 6s8s, limps in before me
    I bet 150
compsmoker, with AA, raises to 350
bachngocduong pushes allin and both compsmoker and I call.
Flop comes As, 7s, 3s to give bachng a flush, and leave me drawing dead.
Turn pairs the board to give compsmoker a boat.

cant realy fold KK there ya they might have AA but they also do that with QQ JJ and as we see 68 kk is above the range there.

The last 4 times I can remember that I had KK, I lost 3 of them when shoving preflop. I'll try a 5th time when the opportunity comes again.

Actually, I meant was that the right play in the real world, not just for an SBR tourney.

I would have bet more preflop. Doung is an idiot and can be disregarded. Betting more keeps zam out of hand and forces the AA to basically play his hand face up

If you are 80% sure one of them have AA than you should fold KK.

Was waiting for someone to say this. At that point in the tourney the table had been all folding and min raising mostly. I considered going in for more but wanted to see the flop with the first decent hand I'd had in a while. Even sounds like newbie play as I type it.

I think Zam had re-raised me pre-flop a couple of times previously from memory, so I probably should have gone harder just on the back of that. Oh well, would have been the same result this time either way.

That's why I started the thread. I don't know if I was 80% sure, but I would have been really shocked had I won the hand when I clicked call.

Which was at the root of the original post. Even with being so pessimistic about the outcome I felt like it would have been 'bad' play to fold. But not always you say...

Thanks for all the comments everyone. Very helpful.
