they send you a letter telling you they know you're not insured and that if you do not hurry up and get insured they will come after your car. You can not drive a car with no insurance if you owe the bank, and if you do drive without insurance in this instance then you should be looking forward to a letter from your bank soon.

Actually Find & Allabout your both wrong. The more common practice of banks is to take out insane insurance sometimes even up to $300-500 a month for a year & tack it onto your loan. Unless your a huge dead beat with a buy here pay here car, then yes I'm sure they would repo it.
