Doesn't matter, the guy is in a time share - where he doesn't get it inside the 20. Dropped his stock from a first rd pick to 5th or 6th rd.

I have forte and bush so i could be covered WHEN Matt forte would get hurt
The Bears believe the injury that knocked Matt Forte out of Thursday's game is a high-ankle sprain.
This comes as no surprise to anyone who saw the replay of Forte twisting the ankle under Charles Woodson's knee. It's horrendous news for Forte's fantasy value, as he was playing at perhaps the highest level of his career. High-ankle sprains typically keep a skill-position player sidelined four weeks, limiting the ability to make cuts at peak form even longer. It's quite possible Forte may not recapture his pre-injury explosiveness the rest of the season. A must-own in all formats, Michael Bush will take over as a three-down back in the meantime.

Matt Forte had 26 non PPR fantasy points in 6 quarters before he got hurt, including a touchdown carry from the 6 yard line.... Add 7 catches for PPR.... so much for your delusional theory.

i just proposed a trade to try and get Cedric Benson...offered Nate Washington and Brandon Pettigrew.
i still have Ben Tate, Dexter McCluster and Alshon Jeffrey on my bench and of course the two players I proposed in the trade.
i can kill this league if i can start three solid RBs like i did week 1 cause no one ellse in the league is doing that.
also proposed Pettigrew for Michael Bush straight up. hopefully someone bites.

I intentionally aimed to get Bush along with Forte due to goal line TDs and sharing carries, but having that traditional 'handcuff' helps too.
Bush should tear it up now unless the o-line completely implodes. If you have a decent third back, just keep Forte on the bench while he heals and start Bush and the other guy and you should be OK.
What a shitshow last night. Thursday NFL should be eliminated. Bad for everyone involved except those counting $$.

What even sucks more for Forte owners, is that they say after a high ankle sprain, he may not get his pre-injury explosiveness back for the rest of the season.

Seems like everyone is trying to get someone on their team to become a D.Sproles or P.Harvin in their offense. If they use D.McCluster like that full time, then he will be a great flex option.
But lets look at R.Cobb last night, Green Bay is suppose to do the same with him, and he didn't do much. I'm glad, because I was matched up against his this week. The guy sat V.Jackson in favor of R.Cobb.

onlooker do you think i am ok with Ridley and Run DMC as my two starters and than the option of putting Pettigrew, Nate Washington, Ben Tate, McCluster or Alsho Jeffrey in the flex? or should i be going out trying to get a RB
Ridley sure had a nice week 1 but who the knows if that is going to keep up.

I have C.Benson and was happy to see the Packers get him involved in the game. He looked good, and averaged 4 yards a rush last night. Even made some nice catches, which he is suppose to not be that great of a receiving RB. If he gets up to speed with the offense, and they don't bail on the run game, he will be a nice workhorse to have. Someone to run out the clock, when the Packers get up big in the game.
my best hope right now would be for Arian Foster to aggrivate his injury ahah

You in a PPR league? D.McFadden will probably get force fed a lot with Palmer dumping off a lot. He had 13 catches in week one, are you kidding me.
I still want to see S.Ridley continue what he is doing, not sold on Patriot RB's. But if BJGE was able to do what he did last year, S.Ridley could, as he is a better skilled RB then BJGE.
I think you will be fine with those guys at Flex, just becomes a match-up discussion every week.

I picked up Benson late rounds as a wait-and-see bench warmer but I like the upside. Game 1 vs 49ers didn't discourage me much as they are capable of shutting down any running game this season. My hope is that Benson builds his chemistry over the season and last night's game looked respectable for him.

That's great news for everyone else.
Was going to draft him but ended up with that bum Lynch.
