SBR rating = A+

I have no doubt that many people will say they feel the A+ rating is too high. That seems unavoidable; people have strong feelings on the topic. I agree that the rating is too high (although not as strongly as some).
The central point seems to be that Bet365 is a book for recreational players. Players who are deemed to be professionals will have limits cut – often down to pointless levels. Their criteria for labeling a player as professional are unclear to me. I played there for well over a year before having my limits cut – and I exhibited many of the signs books look for in a professional (playing unusual markets, selling points, often betting in non-round amounts, winning).
But other players report being limited very quickly.
As to the A+ rating, if you are like me and regard ratings to be mainly about safety, then it is more reasonable. They pay and are very stable.
For players, Bet365 offers a very wide variety of betting options. They’ve got North American and World sports. Lots of props. It can be a kid-in-a-candystore experience with all the options.
It is a full juice book (full juice and then some, in some situations). I used to find an above average number of opinionated lines when I played there but that was quite awhile ago so I can’t comment on the current state of that. Hopefully someone can.
Looking at the web site right now, they do not appear to offer deposit bonuses. I only see a list of bonuses related to parlays and tote bets. Check the website for full terms and conditions.
Other than that, there’s not much I can say. Unless things have changed drastically since I cashed out, I would like to play there. There was good, useful stuff there if you knew where to look. But my low limits make it pointless.
I would like to hear from current players.

If safety and CS alone justify A+ than this is ok, but...
Its more than cutting limits, its basically showing players the door.
Because if you limit a $500 or more player to $50 or lower, its like telling the guy to piss off we dont want your business.
Add the full juice, and you get a B+ book MAX imo.

Apparently Mudcat is missing John because he knows that when he puts this thread out here, that John is going to be forced to write about 17 posts defending the SBR rating system.
I think I hear the poker players coming out of the woodwork...
Good luck, John.

And rightfully so, being a recreational book is a fine thing for many players. But cutting limits to joke amounts like $10 shows low class.
Bodog or VIP are different, afaik they dont do that, they cut limits to several hundreds and/or deal dual lines, but they dont kick your ass goodbye like 3.65 does.

Customer Service is absolutley the worst. I asked them after two years and losing money why my limits were cut. They responded and said that is all our markets can offer at this time. We are talking about cutting my limits as low as $20. Anyways they said they would review my account and get back me within a week. Well, its been 3 months and I never got a phone call which they promised. The only reason why I liked this book was for their in-running betting.
Their is no way that this book should be in the A category. They are rude to customers and throw them to the curb without no legit reason. I am proof that they cut limits to customers that even lose. I was down around 3K in 2 years and yet all the sudden they limit my bets.
My personal rating wouldn't even have them in the "B" list.

I don't understand why is there "for recreational players" and "for professional players" bookies. It is a joke! If a bookie don't like the winners (this called "for recreational players" bookies), don't get A(+) rate! Bet $3.65 should allow to win maximum $20-$40 (as you can win when you got your limit) from the beggining of the registration, and nobody would complain about the funny limits. If you got your limit, and you want to open a new account, you will get your limit again very fastly (without deposit!) Pinnacle have A+, I think they deserved this rate! But Bet $3.65? (How much do bet$3.65 pay to sportsbookreview for this?) My personal rate is : C (and sorry for my English)

I found many value there, althought it is full juice book. Great payouts and prompt answers. But... I disagree with the idea of auto-downgrade every "recreational book", but case Bet3.65 extreme of extreme.
Why rate them A+ if they are ABSOLUTELY useless? They do not deserve any rate. They do not deserve be called bookmaker, because bookmaker´s attribute is taking bets. Bet 3.65 simply do not fulfil this assumption.

What bugs me is you can have a $10 limit online, but pick up the phone and bet whatever. Oh boy! So they had 60secs to adjust their line if they wanted to and you can hit them for a normal bet amount. Why not leave the limits alone and implement a reasonable delay (like 10 seconds - I know that's a long delay but it's better than $10 limit) some books do.
Doesn't it amount to the same thing?

Here's my opinion. If they want to cut limits and/or just completely cut a player off, that's their right. But, let the player have his money without penalty. Let the player have a free withdrawal, and make any bonuses good. It's shady as hell to let a player clear half the WR required for a deposit bonus, then cut the limits so the bonus can't be cleared, then also charge fees or whatever because of lack of play. There's an agreement when a player makes a deposit. If the book breaks the agreement by denying service, then the book can't also play the heavy and charge fees and/or confiscate bonuses. If you want the player gone, pay him his money.

I have no personal experience with Bet $3.65, but any book that is scared of winners shouldn't be rated A+...I have no problem with an A- rating, but A+ means it's a top book (which it's not)...

My experience with them has nothing to do with their sportsbook... but, apparently, their desire to only allow the recreational player extends beyond the sportsbook... I was banned from bonuses after clearing the poker and casino bonus... I did both in what I considered nonexploitive way (big bets in the casino and much higher then the minium limits needed to clear the bonus in the pokerroom) and, apparently, a couple large wins was enough to get me labeled as an unwanted advantage player... never got a chance to try out the sportsbook as after being told that I wasn't allowed to receive bonuses anymore I told them to close my account as I wasn't going to play anywhere that denied me benefits that other customers received... Far too money other pokersites out there to put up with this type of BS... From what I read on other poker forums it isn't uncommon for them to exclude players from bonuses who they deem aren't playing enough hands or putting enough into the pots...

I have a personal experience with them for the past 2 years.
Indeed they limit players severely.I my self find my limits going up and down many times.Till now my limit is 500, but dont know what's gonna happen in the future.
They pay fast, very fast for a european book.
CS is really bad, last time i called, i was waiting on the line for more than 5 minutes, being obliged to listen to silly music. The operator had a very heavy scotish accent that was difficult for me to understand.(English is not my native language)
Even though they are a full juice book, i can spot some arbs from time to time, but it is obvious that they are very fast in changing their odds, protecting theirselves from arbers.

My limits (often less than the change in my couch) are the same over the phone.

They may not be as slow to adjust their lines relative to other square books, but I certainly wouldn't say they are "very fast".

A+ seems way to high. Bet365 confiscated a players funds becasue thier poker provider said the player was a cheat. AFter the poker room changed its minds and said the player didn't cheat, bet365 still refused to pay the player. They refused to discusss the matter, or offer any reasonable explanation. It was only because of IBAS that bet365 finally paid. But the player should never have had to go to IBAS. The fact that everyone, including IBAS, and the poker porvider disagreed with Bet365's stance, has to make one stop and wonder just what kind of people are running the place.

FWIW, VIP just cut my limits to $50 (down from the $300 limits they cut me to a while ago). It may interest some to know that the wager that made me "Platinum" there is the first one that had the $50 limits.

VIP cut me to $50 max win also.
(But that's mostly my fault because I was forced to cover a bad position by placing max bets on a prop at their entire group.)
