Attn SBR Brass: Bring Jose CANSECO to the BASH!
    1. He would attend. He posts all the time online about how he is looking to make appearances. I have his agent's email address if needed.

    2. He would not cost a lot. Guy is hurting for cash.

    3. He would be a hit with SBR posters who, for the most part, are sports fans and are not really serious about making money gambling.

    4. He is great at mingling. Have seen him at events before. He wouldn't just sit in the corner like some of the hired BABES do.

    This is a great idea!

guy is always broke and would do any appearance.

The reason he did Juiced was for attention and money. He spent money during his career as fast as he could make it. It quickly went downhill after no team would employ him.

I heard he backed out of celebrity boxing like the pu$$y we knew he was.
Hows about arranging a boxing match between the two of us? of course I expect to be paid as well.

I remember when the bash brothers played for the A's and ESPN aired their games about every night. It was more like a freakshow than a baseball game.

I was just a little guy then but it made me think that is what a baseball player should look like and swing like. If it wasn't for ESPN misdirecting young kids I think I probably go pro, thanks a lot bash brothers and ESPN.

Good idea. Maybe Ozzie will come instead and everyone will think it is Josie.

Better yet, why don't you try to book his ex wife, Jessica. Raffle off some time with her.

fight starts 3:40 (interview well worth the watch)

and the winner 60 year old Gary Hogan!

                  Jose Canseco

It appears Jose doesn't like to get hit, so I would place my wager on you sir.

Outstanding idea. Any idea what he charges for such appearances?

What a trainwreck of a career (and post-career) but he was pretty entertaining on Celeb Apprentice.

When my dad signed me up for little league in 1988 they asked him what number I wanted on my jersey, I told them 33 because of Jose Canseco, he got the 40-40 that year. I wore it for 11 years but by then he had turned into a regular of the media and it wasn't only because of baseball.

I'm guessing there are a lot of us that are close to my age group (34) that had Canseco as their favorite players growing up. I actually had Canseco on the back of my little league jersey when I was playing. lol

I met him after he went 40/40 and paid 20 bux for his auto (back before it cost 10 billion dollars for one). I'll just say, the guy is a class act. He makes all the other autos I got at shows look stupid. Clemens didn't even look me in the eye... No problem, sold that ball for 5x the amount to some other duder. F Clemens and huzzah Jose. Guy is great!
