Ok, from what I understand of line movements, linesmakers aren't quite sure what the line should be... so they throw out a number that's approximately what the actual line should be, and the market balances it out.
Is it safe to say that the sharps are the first ones to bet on a game to take advantage of the soft lines? Meaning if there's heavy line movement right when a line comes out, it's more important than a line movement later on down the road?
Also, do sharps throw out big money at the beginning like I said, just to get more people and line trackers to take the same side they're on, but then would put more money on the opposite side now that it's at a better line?
