Big parlay trouble today!!

This is why parlays are only meant for fun fellas..
Today was my day!!... HAD AN EXCELLENT DAY!! Played several single wagers and a few smaller parlays. (2-3 teamers..a few 4-5 here and there) Overall made out like a fat rat today in baseball.. Also hit a nice superfecta in the horses this morning for about $130 or so...NICE DAY!!

Well here is the kicker..
1st big parlay-
Had an 18 team parlay Lose because the pirates lost the damn game and couldn't go over the total!! SOB!! $1 to win a little over 24k..!!

2nd big parlay-
12 teamer also lost because of the Pirates..

3rd big parlay-
10 teamer lost because of the pirates..
ARE YOU FUKKKING KIDDING ME???? DAMNT PIRATES!!!!

Well then it goes on..
Another 12 team parlay lost because the SF/SD game went over the total.. I had it at staying under 7.. final score.. Giants 7..SD 1... SOB!!



Still a great day hitting some nice size wagers and like I said..I definitely came out +EV today.. I'm not complaining here...but damn...seriously...THIS HURTS!!
Could have been sippen on a white Russian in Puerto Rico this weekend if just the damn pirates would have won and finished these parlays..SOB!!!

Im sure they are...but tonight..after all my single wagers won today..I am drinking them..Just at my house, in front of my tv...If I play $50 bucks worth of parlays and still play and WIN some other single wagers well then it comes out +EV...

Hell yea!! Me too man... SO many close calls its ridiculous...I must be one of the most incredible 1 win away from a BIG WIN winners in the world.. This shit seems to happen every other week..

You hit it on the head..parlays should be just for fun. What the hell, give them a shot once and a while and see if you can hit. Nothing wrong with it as long as you can afford to lose.

YOU didn't hedge the pirates game ? I would hedge at least $5k-$10k that's a hell lot of money! did you play the Open parlays @ 5Dimes I guess? Good luck in the future, hope you nail those bookies one day with a $1 to 24k$ wager

Well No...I didnt hedge because I didnt realize this was the only game I lost (For these parlays) all day until after the final games were done for the night..

Pretty hard to hedge an 18 team parlay, when the Pirates game was in the first slate of games. If buddy knew Pirates was going to kill his parlay, he would have flown to Vegas last night, and got his life savings down on the Cubbies.

If I would have known about all the other plays winning and the pirates the only play losing..Hell..I would have played all the other plays in Vegas too..
