Two top fighters face off tonight for UFC 149 in Canada when Urijah Faber fights Renan Barao for the interim UFC bantamweight belt. Both these fighters know their way around the octagon but, of the two, Faber is the more experienced in big fights, having previously fought the likes of Jose Aldo, Jens Pulver and Dominik Cruz. Barao, on the other hand, is a serious contender and has not been beaten since his MMA debut in 2005, with 29 fights to his credit, a record that will surely make him confident going into this.

One factor that may well determine this fight is who is better on the ground. Faber has a wrestling and power advantage, but Barao’s skill in ju-jitsu has seen him take 13 victories by submission method. Faber is no stranger to the art, however, and is one up with a record of 14 submission wins, but Barao may have the upper hand through speed and technical proficiency.

I like Faber here most of Barao's career was in Brazil plus he is a strange to 5 rds of tough competion.
