I watched his first several holes and he looked pretty sharp. His 3 shots on the 6th hole were outstanding. Did he struggle on the back 9 or just miss a lot of putts?

I'd like to be able to root for Adam Scott but that's not possible with him using that putter. Those things should be banned.

While he is a terrible bet and was a terrible bet before the -3 he definitely has a chance.He is just not that much better than the field if at all anymore so taking him as the favorite is just plain square.The value was on the guys 40-1 and more like Els ,Molinari,R Fisher.

can't just make up for poor shots with long irons on this course. Ego will get in the way...

greens are way to slow for tiger's putting.

weather and other adversities that you don't face on 99% of tour courses, do not mix well with tiger's temperment.

lack of hot babes to fok near the course, most english babes are not tiger's type

you might have 2012 tiger mixed up with 2010 or 2011 tiger

he's 3rd on the pga tour in ball striking which means if the weather kicks up then it's always to his advantage because he'll keep it in play

he'll also outgrind at least 95% of the guys in the tournament

you noted his putting is an issue...that's 100% correct....and if the weather goes bad there aren't many guys making many birds so putting becomes less of a factor

I think Chi is right in that the faster the greens are the more it favors Tiger. Look where he won so far this year, very fast greens.
I thought watching today, that he struggled with some of the short irons getting the right distance, I thought a couple of times, a few years ago he would have hit some of those shots closer.
This is the third major this year, and so far, not too good Friday at Masters, but OK Thu and Fri. Need to find out if the Sean Foley swing works on the weekend in majors. He might be ready. So, in total, I think Tiger has a shot, and a lot more interesting to watch if he is in the hunt than if he is not.
