#43Yeah. For some of the guys with tens of thousands of points this is free $$ (or points as it were). They are capped at the book, they can't possibly lend all those points for such a return at that time frame. Not the mention the risk of being stiffed by SBR is probably = to the risk of SBR abolishing the value of a point anyway, so essentially risk free. I'm not saying it's a no brainer for everyone but for some of the whales it certainly is.Comment -

#48Why not just offer another discounted prop on Obama again? It would accomplish the same thing (give out some free points) and lock them up for several months longer...Comment -

Your point about SBR abolishing the value is well taken and valid. I just assumed that SBR would have rated itself as AAA+.
In my world, that is not a solid enough endorsement for 1% even if it is only 30 days.Comment -

Bonds are highly underrated in the investment community, always have been, always will be.

#54I do not understand the single A+ rating to be honest with you. That, all things being equal, is not that great. It is above average but... not 1% IMO.

#58you make the currency so print more.
Works great in the US!!
btw this will turn into a cluster **** and I hope you're smart enough to realize that. Just list the price and accept. Quit being cheap on 100 points that are only worth $5.Comment -

One of the strong reasons I recommended loading up on commodities 5+ years ago................thank you very little.
