People HATED playing Lendel. Not only bec of his antics & non human composure, but he would take you fuking out at the net if he had a chance to pass........he wasn't passing, he was gonna try to put a hole in your chest. We joke about that all the time when I do my lessons with older guys. We call it "Ledelizing someone". Simple, your opponent approaches your forehand and u don't have to run much, set up and take the freaking guys head off at the net. Win the point Lendel would be proud!

Whoever put this thread up, thanks! That was pretty funny bec the guy has ZERO expressions in all facets of life. The one thing I DEFINITELY remember is the back court when Ivan played. It was freaking covered in saw dust!! He was one of the last guys to load up his pockets with saw dust and he would put he right hand in his right pocket to rub that dust all over it after every point. So the freaking backcourt looked like a saw mill for crying out loud. Players used to complain so much. HAHAHAHA!!! I remember one time, they had to stop the match & pretty much sweep it up. But they still allowed him to keep using it I think. Hilarious if you ask me.

The best with Lendl was when the opponent went to the net in warmups before the match Lendl would hit him, or try his best to.
