Marcus Camby had a solid season last year. I didn't even know he was 38... he plays like 33 or 34 thats for sure

Only weakness on Knicks is Anthony

Anyone that thinks Camby not effective the last 10 years does not have a clue about the nba

Camby hasn't been on a team that made it out of 1st round of playoffs in almost a decade.

Individually, Anthony is a top 5 talent. Only problem is that he isn't a great T-E-A-M player. Other than Durant, Anthony might be the 2nd best scorer in the NBA. But he isn't a great passer. If he can learn to be a better passer, and actually try on defense, people wouldn't think so negatively of him.

Personally, I really like Carmelo and I think the media treats him a bit unfair.

Melo is lazy, takes nights off, blames other people when things go wrong (especially coaches)
does not understand simple defensive adjustments and rebounds only on nights when he feels like rebounding. Also, I don't believe I have ever seen him set a pick for a teamate.. Sure the guy can flat out score when he is in the mood the rest of the time he is chucking bad shots and not even trying on defense. Guy is not even close to a top 10 talent in the nba.

Has always been underrated. #2 rebounding efficiency rate in the NBA last year.

If Kidd-Chandler-Camby cant right the Amare/Melo ship, nothing can.

hilarious. guy is not only a top 10 talent in the world today, but is one of the best scorers the nba has ever seen. His rebounding numbers have been fine over the years. He can develop into a better passer and defender. You have to remember how big this guy is. He is a power forward that plays on the perimeter. The guy has more low post strength than any PF in basketball.

If simply scoring on numerous attempts is your gold standard then sure he is a top five player

You are making my point with the above statement. Absolutely no excuse for a player with his size, strength, and ability to consistantly give up the the amount of points he does on the defensive end his entire career. Scrubs have career nights with Melo guarding them so if he is not scoring 35 points he is a liability, kinda why he tends to have a minus with a double digit number next to his name in the box score more nights then not. Stronger than any PF in the NBA is as silly as Melo suddenly taking an interest in team ball illistrated by timely defensive adjustments.

This last year he became a better passer than he was at any point in his career. The reason I mentioned the strength/PF is because it's not easy for Carmello to guard perimeter players bro. He is a big guy. He's bigger than any SF in the NBA. If he got to guard the PF's, you would notice his defense is a lot better on back to the basket players. You can't ask a guy that's 6'9 260 to stay in front of a perimeter player. Lebron James is like the 1 exception.

Do you remember Sean Kemp being able to guard perimeter players? What about Karl Malone?
