Line Movement/Sportsbook Question

When it comes to line movements, which sportsbook is "the one to watch"? I mean, on SBR Odds for example, which book will change a line first that all others will follow? I'm assuming its either Pinnacle, Olympic, or CRIS, but I just want to know which one to pay attention to so I can always get down on the best number at some of my "easier" books. As always, any help would be appreciated!

Thanks for the replies guys. I have an example. Right now on SBR Odds, Pinnacle is the only book with Bowling Green +7. Every other book is at +7.5. Is it safe to assume that the other books will soon be moving to match Pinnacle or is The Greek or CRIS a better indicator of line movements?

i dont monitor NFL lines, so cant tell sry. But i guess 0.5 is not enough of a difference for the other bookies to follow, and the game is tomorrow right?
At MLB pinny is the best indicator by far, 1 team will always have better odds than the other bookies offer, and sooner or later something will happen.

I don't find that safe to assume at all. I understand how you might wish that there would be nice, neat rules like that, but unfortunately I find line movement to be much more (infuriatingly) unpredictable.

an example: Pinny has +105, -113 on a Mlb ML. the other bookies have -115, -105.
Now some sharps will hit pinnys +105 and the other bookies -105.
Its pretty safe to assume that pinny wont hold the +105 for long (exeption is close to game start, when they may raise it even more), and the other bookies might move to -105, -115 or something.

I can tell you from visiting dozens of sportsbooks a year that CRIS is the most watched book and most followed. Next would be Oly. Pinny has a different system and can swing and is pretty fluid.

Thanks John! This is the answer I was looking for, but I'm starting to like the discussion. Any other theories or discussion in this thread are very welcome as line movements are an incredibly important topic.

I agree 100% with John in that it's CRIS. Props and sports not bet heavily you may want to look at Oly or Pinny.
