Agree with you on his lol jump size, considering he is obviously proud enough of the achievement to post it on the forums.

Sports bettors have zero control over short term results. If they ensure that they are making bets in line with their edge they should be able to see the results revert to that edge over the space of say a year if they are betting with sufficient volume. (Sometimes it takes shorter or longer)

A better goal is to set an amount of money that you want to bet for the month. Three to five times (could be higher for some) your bankroll is a pretty good goal to bet in any given month if you are betting with an edge.

With our edge we know we can make around 2% of what we put in, so even if results go horrible for us in a month - we know that we should have made 2% profit. Same when results go crazily well - we know we only should have made around 2% of the total money that we bet for the month. Of course you are rarely going to have an exactly 2% month.
