I've made good money betting on Spain & Germany last couple of weeks.
Do they go through today?

Seems like they should.
Really seems like they should.
I want portugal to advance, and will put a few bucks on it.
Really seems like Spain should go through.
Spain has amazing possession and control. Portugal has some flash. Real hard to get a good handle.

from what ive gathered over this cup, is that spain has overall balance and if you are choosing between spain to advance and germany to advance (since they have the same odds) then my money would definetly be on spain.
however its only one game, everything can happen

Yes. Biggest Spanish strength- Midfield..Biggest Portugal weakness- Midfield..Spain scores their goals and controls the ball through their midfield..People seem to be over thinking it here..keep it simple, this is a no-brainer..I parlayed Spain+Germany to advance for a little over 1:1 odds just in case either game goes to extra time or penalties but I don't see either of them losing...BOL for whatever you choose

Pretty much depends on Ronaldo
Over all Spain > Portugal
But Ronaldo > Every player in Europe
Odds say Spain go through, but Ronaldo can win a game by himself.
Spain will have all the ball, but they must make it count.
Portugal is adept at counter attacking and in Ronaldo they have probably the best counter attacking player today.

I'd take Xavi or Iniesta over Ronaldo anyday...
You see, Ronaldo is overrated, he needs a great team to succeed, he does not make his own chances, thats what ppl dont want to see, and portugal is not a great team like Real Madrid.

Portugal 2-1. Portugal's counter attacking style is just what the Dr ordered vs a ball possession team like Spain. Portugal will not get frustrated by the lack of possession because that is the style they play to begin with. Spain is just not as good w/o Puyol and David Villa as well and I think today is the day they get truly exposed.

As to Ronaldo not creating chances that's plain false. He creates plenty of chances and chances for others as well.
How do you not create some chances for yourself and score as many goals as him. You are obviously a disgruntled Barcelona fan.
Only Messi is better. Xavi and Iniesta can tiki taka themselves to death.

Only Barcelona is great like Real Madrid.
Same with Spain they are not as good as Barcelona. They have one play style, slow buildup play.
If Portugal counter and Ronaldo is in decent finishing form he will score.

Playing like a 100 games and only scoring 35 goals.
Nothing to write home about.

Needs a great team? In this tourny he has shown he dose not need one. Ya he is not scoring 2-3 goals every game. This is not La Liga. Where only the top few team are any good. In the start of this tourny when he was not even scoring he was getting chances. They were not going in tho. That's the bigger problem. His mind was all over the place because of his poor playing for Portugal in the past. Just over thinking. With him looking like he got past that the last few games still dont know if they are going to win. Can Portugal score with the few chances that Spain gives them?

One of the things I'm considering along with both teams to score. Haven't seen anyone mention the BTTS prop but I think it can hit its just up to Portugal.

Well not Suarez or Podolski.
But I'd say by that list Ronaldo is in select company.
