#3Bet doesn't include extra time. You'd have to bet Portugal to advance at -320 or so.Comment -

#4-3/4 = -0.75 which means when you bet, say 100$, you are actualy making two bets - 50$ on -0.5 and 50$ on -1, meaning if portugal wins 1-0, you win half a bet (the -0.5 and get the other half back), if portugal wins by 2+ goals, you scoop and win both bets and if portugal looses you loose the whole stakeComment -

#5Most soccer bets are "regulation and stoppage time only"....so if PKs were to happen, you'd lose unless you had the draw, the PK line, or the +.5 (or +anything line for that matter).
-3/4 is a half bet on the ML and a half bet on -1. So if Portugal won 2-1, you'd win 50% of the stake....if they won 3-1, you'd win the whole bet.Comment -

#6Unless its labeled as "to qualify' you're betting on the result at 90'
Portugal -.5 (-150) loses if the game goes to extra time.
-3/4 or -.75 is a bet where your bet amount is split in half between -.5 and -1Comment -

No. If you want to be able to win with Portugal including regulation and penalty kicks, you have to bet "Portugal to advance" currently -320 at 5 dimes.Comment -

so my question is this...if they both were to lose in regulation time if it draws. why do they even list the .-1/2 and not just the ML when they are both the same juice?Comment -

#1699% of games dont have added time in soccer. this is a rare exception. i believe portugal is around -300 to advance, which includes pk and extra time wins.Comment -

#19Actually you did, direct quote from your post, but no big deal. In regards to listing -1/2 vs ML at same juice, from what I understand the books make more profit off 3 way betting (win, draw, lose). A lot of times 5Dimes (my book) juice on the money line will be a couple points different than the goal line. It's more complex than I can explain. Google for more info.Originally posted by zoo youkI didn't say "on all over goals" its listed Portugal goals -.1/2 -146, which is what i said or meant to say.

#221X2 (or 3-way ML if you wanna call it that) and AH are 2 different ways of betting, just like all major american sports (difference being ML is 3 way obv), the thing with football (soccer) though is the fact that in most larger leagues the teams are somewhat even so lines of -0.5/+0.5 are very common. While the -0.5 is the very same bet as the ML, it still has to be offered or they'd only be offering action on one side which needless to say would be weird. The AH lines also often have higher payout rates, so sometimes the -0.5 line might be at a tick better odds (though its the other way around sometimes too), so just take whichever is better unless they the exact same...Originally posted by zoo youkI didn't say "on all over goals" its listed Portugal goals -.1/2 -146, which is what i said or meant to say.
