I'll give you a hint, I bought a product line from the company I used to work for...That product line sells about 125-135K on average the past 4 years...I bought that product line and it costs us, 32 bucks in material to build and we sell them for 125 a piece...I gave up on buying my own house when we started this company, because I used my money to help pay for the line.

I didn't get paid for the first 4 months of opening our business, because we weren't sure how it was going to go.

So go ahead and tell me some more? My parents have given me a house to stay in until I was 23...Other than that I've worked for everything I've got.

Why was I wait listed? I applied pretty late. Most people apply in October/November, I applied in January. They only have 220-240 spots to give out and thousands and thousands of people apply. They can't accept everyone.

Also, it could have been a yield protect. I've read that a lot of prestigious law schools will wait list anyone who they are unsure will attend if accepted. Law Schools are ranked partially nationally on their YIELD, which means the percentage of students they accept. The lower the yield, the higher they are ranked.

I'll dumb it down for you. If someone with a 180 LSAT and 4.0 GPA applies to Northwestern, they will wait list that person and send them an email inquiring as to their interest level. The reason is, they figure that person will probably end up going to Harvard or Yale or Stanford with those numbers.

Now...I don't recall saying that I had a huge wad of cash at 18. I had a good job at 18, but not a huge wad of cash...I believe I said at the age of 21 I had a nice amount saved up and spent it on the upstart of our business instead of using it for a downpayment, which I had planned.
