    Explain this about Bovada
When Bovada and Bodog broke away in December, did Bovada inherit the balances of US customers without Bodog transferring them the funds to cover the balances? Judging by the poker players who are cashing out (regs carry a higher balance than casual players), the time of season (people cashing out after football and not depositing), it sounds like they don't have the funds to handle the amount of payout requests they are getting. If Bovada becomes insolvent how does that affect Bodog?

There was essentially 4 Bodog skins: Bodog Sportsbook, Bodog UK, Bodog888, and whatever they called the skin that served US players. All that happened to that skin was a name change, there was no transfer of money from Bodog to Bovada because nothing changed outside of the name.

If Bovada becomes insolvent how does that affect Bodog?
      It doesn't

          It doesn't
Thanks for the answer, I thought the name change was the only thing that changed...

So that leads me to my next question, why does bovada and Bodog etc have separate and different ratings on SBR if they are the same thing?

I'm not sure what part of my post made you think they were the same thing they are just the opposite. Bovada and other 3 Bodog brand books are separate entities, hence the different ratings.

Bovada is a new brand, correct? However it is different than Bodog. I am curious why it is still rated A and on the recommend list especially with the long payout problems. Advertising dollars? That is a huge injustice to the players as Bovada is anything but A rated and I don't know how if it is a different brand it can initially have an A rating

bovada is the american skin. they didnt want bodog associated with america anymore. you can get paid quickly by bovada if you want to pay a hefty fee.

Bovada doesn't have an "A" rating.

This isn't true for all players. I'd say most don't have the option you're mentioning.

true, i definitely would avoid playing here if you dont have this option unless u dont need the money in any amount of time.
