It's not a big deal that he drove drunk to me, it's a big deal that he drove so drunk that he totaled his 250,000 dollar car and could have ran over a little kid. There are different degrees of intoxication. If he was that wasted he was as dangerous as a loaded gun on a merry-go -round.

I agree. Years ago... I used to go to clubs with my roommate who wasn't much of a drinker. He might drink 2 beers max. Naturally he was always the designated driver. I forgot to mention... he's one of the worst drivers I've ever ridden with even before he has 2 beers. I was always kind of nervous driving with him because he was so bad. On more than 1 occasion the guy who had several drinks(me) saved us from getting into a wreck by yelling things like STOP!!! Running through stop signs and red lights were his specialty.
