    Sbr sportsbook: First olympic props
Here are the very first set of SBR Sportsbook prop bets for the Olympic Games which will be commencing in London, July 27. China are once again the favourites to win the games, presumably having been trained under the firing end of a gun as not to let the motherland look bad. Will be interesting to see how the UK will look to compete with the epic opening ceremony of the last games...apparently the current plans consist of six roman candles, David Beckham in a tracksuit, and some Britain's Got Talent prick-a-ma-boob beatboxing on a trampoline.

Here's how the Gold Medals went last year

    USA - 36
    China - 51
    Russia - 23
    Great Britain - 19
    Australia - 14

Aussies are usually quite handy in aquatic events and the US are track masters. Russia and China ones to watch in the gymnastics and the ever efficient Germans are good all rounders. Great Britain didn't really recover since they got rid of croquet in 1900 but hopefully being on home turf will offer a mental advantage. Incidentally that last icon seems to represent some sort of invasion which could be even odds on a few of those in the top 6.

Olympic flame for London Games lit

05/10 ANCIENT OLYMPIA, Greece, The flame that will burn during the London Games was lit at the birthplace of the ancient Olympics on Thursday, heralding the start of a torch relay that will culminate with the opening ceremony on July 27.

Actress Ino Menegaki, dressed as a high priestess, stood before the 2,600-year-old Temple of Hera, and after an invocation to Apollo, the ancient Greeks' Sun God, used a mirror to focus the sun's rays and light a torch.

The triangular torch is designed to highlight the fact that London is hosting the Olympics for the third time. It also staged the games in 1908 and 1948.
